Inland Sea 3D started with a 3D printer, a lot of curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
What began as a creative hobby quickly grew into a family business shaped by new ideas, customer requests, and opportunities we never expected.
We're still learning, still creating, and still discovering where 3D printing can take us next.
Our Mission
Our goal is simple: create products we're proud to put our name on and give our customers an experience that brings them back.
Whether we're printing something fun, solving a practical problem, or working on a custom project, we care about quality, creativity, and doing things the right way.
That also means respecting the designers behind the work. The products we sell are either our own designs or produced through proper commercial licensing, allowing us to support the artists and creators who help make this industry possible.
Meet our Family
We're Alex and Kate, and what started as a creative hobby has become something our whole family gets to experience together. From running printers and preparing for events to meeting customers throughout the Lake Norman and Charlotte area, Inland Sea 3D has become a part of our everyday lives.
As a family- and veteran-owned business, every order, event, custom project, and returning customer helps us continue building something we're proud of—and something our kids get to watch grow right alongside us.
